Responsibilities:

Responsible for sourcing on cosmetics packaging, accessories and model making
Handle general inquiries and requests of the offices on specific key accounts
Create, develop, qualify, manage and maintain vendors database
Seek out new technology in market for support product innovation
On-site audit and monitor vendor’s quality improvement plan
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years relevant packaging sourcing experience in paper, plastic case and metal
Hands-on experience in working with tight schedule
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
Frequent traveling to China is needed

We’re ready for the right candidate to join our Cosmetic Brush Sales department as a Project Manager. You’ll have the chance to work directly with each department in the company to manage customers and projects at various stages of production.

Your mission will be to work with the packaging innovation and brush teams to manage customers and projects by responding to customer inquiries and communicating with factory personnel on product specifications. Using your ability to communicate effectively, you will correspond with factories, primarily located in Asia, mainly via telephone and email. Your time management and organizational skills will be essential as you will need to constantly change direction to keep up with the fast paced environment. Your capacity to thrive in a team environment, as well as independently, will drive your success at solving problems regardless of the situation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 2 years previous experience managing multiple projects or account management in a Sales environment
  • General understanding of the manufacturing process
  • Strong Presentation, Communication, Organizational & Time Management Skills are required
  • The ability to work independently using strong critical thinking skills is a must
  • Ability to travel internationally/domestically if required

Product Coordinators assist Project Managers, Product Development & Sales to develop beauty brands’ packaging needs and bring concepts to life.

Duties include:

  • Respond to internal inquiries, issues & requests in a quick and efficient manner
  • Liaise with regulatory, quality, and other product related departments for documentation requests
  • Liaise with project managers, and factories to collect relevant information for turnkey programs
  • Request forms such as COA’s, MSDS documents, Net Content forms and Compatibility and Stability for all programs (working closely with regulatory and project management)
  • Prepare, label & send samples (internally, and for customer meetings)
  • Assist in compilation and maintenance of the color library
  • Assist with administrative duties including compiling information for program quotations and timelines, keeping customer files, and issuing new launch purchase orders
  • Other duties as needed

Project Manager Responsibilities

An extension of the Sales’ team, Project Managers help to assess beauty brands’ packaging needs and bring concepts to life.

Duties include:

  • Integral point person responsible for maintaining ongoing contact with sales staff, clients and internal cross functional teams to develop and maintain all aspects of a customer’s launch (Cost, Aesthetic targets, Technical, Quality and Timing).
  • Ensure production is properly executed by establishing packaging standards and defect ranges with the customer.
  • Apply knowledge of package development practices and processes to best meet client needs.
  • Handling administrative duties including issuing Program Quotations and Timelines, keeping customer files, and issuing New launch Purchase Orders.
